Motordata Research Consortium ("MRC") is a sole consessionaire appointed by The General Insurance Association of Malaysia ("PIAM") and endorsed by Bank Negara Malaysia. In partnership with the British Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre (THATCAM UK), MRC is an industry initiative serving the Malaysian Motor Insurance and Takaful Industry in reducing subjectivity in motor claims estimation and containing cost of claims. MRC also is a member of the global Research Council for Automobile Repairs (RCAR).
